ROMMEL: THE RISE OF THE DESERT FOX - Our theme this month is WWII Early War, and our focus point is General Erwin Rommel. Most WI readers will be familiar with 'The Desert Fox' from his exploits on the battlefields of North Africa, but in this issue we use Rommel's early war actions as a way to introduce you to this exciting wargame period.

ROMMEL SAVES THE DAY: THE BATTLE OF ARRAS, 1940 - The Germans push through Belgium and France in 1940 brought their forces to a climactic head-to-head with the French and British armies at Arras. This scenario and battle report recreates the action between the infantry tanks of the 7th RTR and their advance towards Wailly, and the artillery and infantry of the 7th Panzer Division.
