Front Cover: The Vale of Rheidol Railway's No. 9 Prince of Wales hit the headlines in 1982 when she reappeared ex-works wearing a striking golden ochre livery, closely matching Stroudley's LB&SCR "Improved Engine Green" and very impressive she looked too. Before this event No. 9 had worn BR's rather mundane blue livery and was caught head on by photographer Eric Sawford's camera at Aberystwyth station in the late 1970s.
