ON THE COVER - " The Dog Track " is one of the main features of the Manchester Model Railway Society's Annual Exhibition and this view of Mr. J. E. Edgar's end of the layout shows his completely new station as it appeared in the 1954 show held just before Christmas. The track is for two-rail at 24 volts, laid to 18 mm. gauge. When our photographer pressed the button, an L.N.W.R. set pulled out for " Northchurch," hauled by a Webb " Coal Tank " made by the late Alex Jackson.
