COVER; Lockheed C-130K Hercules XVI 76, the first of sixty-six on order for the R.A.F., made its first flight at Marietta, Georgia, on 19th October. It will go this month to Marshalls of Cam- bridge for modification to Hercules C.I standard and then to Boscombe Down for handling trials. No. 242 O.C.U. at Thorney Island will receive its first Hercules C.1s in April 1967 and the first squadron is to be formed in July - see also "World Air News
