Front Cover - Former GWR 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No.7808 Cookham Manor leaves the north end of Redhlll with a train of former SR stock.in the spring of 1963. These locos had started work on the Reading service about six months earlier, when large numbers of steam locomotives were being withdrawn and some better ones transferred to replace dapped-out Moguls on this and similar dirties.
