Railway of the Month: Chollerford - A homage to the Border Counties Railway, this 00 layout took the station latterly known as Humshaugh for its inspiration. David Milford and his fellow Geordie operators will be at the Watey show at Hall 5 of the NEC this month Plan of the Month: Swindon Works - Craig Tiley shows you how to take a small part of the headquarters of the Great Western Railways and model a section of this famous factory complex. His plan also includes a scenic section inspired by the Sydney Gardens in Bath. Whatever happened to: Denroyd - A return to a 1980s track plan gave Nick Easton an excuse to continue running his London & North Western locomotives and.stock following the demise of his previous layout. This 4mm scale layout updates one from RM November 1981. Scale Drawings: Diesel railbus halts - With the introduction in the early 1960s of diesel railbuses, such as the AC Cars types forthcoming in 00 from Heljan, extra halts were provided on the Tetbury and Cirencester branches. Michael Farr remembers those routes fondly, and remakes some 4mm scale models he constructed back then. Sheepcroft Yard - Jodn Flann explains how, with a bit of reworking of sidings and scenic break, his Hintock Redux 00 layout can now handle even more traffic. Settle & Carlisle cavalcade - Join lan Macdonald and Martin Wright for a lineside look at some of the more obscure prototypes which operate on their layout, Kirkby Stephen West, in 4mm scale.
