From 'A Patch of France on English Soil': A picture from the company brochure of the UK headquarters which were a model of efficiency. This drawing, along with others from the brochure included in the article, captures the essence of the period, an impressive environment and an operation which provided great customer satisfaction. Notable features of the service station were an effective internal telelphone system , ventilation that was designed to expel vehicle fumes, a compressed-air installation to drive machinery, and a built-in vacuum cleaning arrangement to clean the premises as well as cars.
