From 'Follow up: Craig Muschat': Cretehive takes to the calm waters of Gourock Bay, her name and port of registry apparently a wartime secret. Presumably, these barges carried a similar three-masted fore-and-aft rig to that shown on the 'Terrible Twins', though in this case there seems precious little space for working sail between the three closely-spaced hatches. And where did the crew live Flush-decked, and so without raised fo'c'sle, it seems unlikely they lived forward in this case. Also, there are no portholes in the hull aft.
