Formed in 1963, the Blades operated five Jet Provost T Mk 5s, which last year appeared in this striking red, white and blue scheme. Their last appearance was in June 1973 and there are some doubts as to whether they will ever appear again, although officers at Linton-on-Ouse were keeping their fingers crossed when we spoke to them. In any case the colour scheme illustrated here is still an attractive possibility on an Airfix Mk 3 conversion
