From 'Underground Trains at Gloucester: Construction of the District Line's G Stock': Another train of mixed types but before the 1928 improvements. Headed by an E stock motor and followed by two former B stock trailers and a G stock motor, the short four car train is an off-peak service. The number 297 on the leading E stock motor is from the series carried by these cars prior to the 1928 renovation, and this train shows the compatibility that the G stock had with older types due to the recycling of the GE69 traction motors. The location is unknown, but Acton Town is a strong possibility. NRM, Household collection
