COVER STORY:
HMS SNOWBERRY K166 - This HMS Snowberry was built by Phil Waldron of the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team, seen at the Weymouth IMMF prior to the club's WWIt display on July 13th. This is the first model Phil has built and he used a GRP hull and scratch built superstructure, this model is very popular as a plastic kit but it is unusual to see a 1:48th scale version. It took Phil 8 months to build and he was inspired to build the Flower Class Corvette after viewing the film 'The Cruel Sea' multiple times in the mess deck while he served with the RN!
