Front cover On 8 April, the penultimate day of service from the old St. Pancras station, Midland Mainline marked the occasion by running an additional service train hauled by "Peak" 45112 "THE ROYAL ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS" (with 47355 "AVOCET" dead on the rear). The train departed St. Pancras at 10.37 and returned at 13.22. In this view, the return working is seen at Wigston South Junction, south of Leicester.
