FEATURES A REMARKABLE PATROL Lieutenant Robert Brown was the navigating offi cer of HM Submarine E11 - one of the most successful British submarines to see action during the naval operations in the Dardanelles Campaign of 1915. Based on the actual log kept by Lieutenant Brown, we examine the events of one of those action-packed patrols - her second - which was undertaken between August and September 1915.
