FRONT COVER: Ex-LMS 4-6-2 No.46200 The Princess Royal on the turntable at C'amden depot in June /962. No.46HM was one of only four 'Princess Royal' class locomotives to receive the red livery introduced hy RR in 1957/K for certain of its former LMS Pacifies, sixteen of the 'Coronation' 4-6-2s also being given this striking and highly appropriate colour scheme.
