Again from the camera of Roger Shenton we see the Liverpool Street to Harwich (Parkeston Quay) 'Day Continental' express prior to leaving its London terminus on 8 May 1959, which will connect with the Harwich to the Hook of Holland boat. In charge of the train is Colchester-based 'Bl' 4-6-0 No 61372, which proudly sports the English and Dutch flags on its headboard.
